The NGO has identified a number of community based groups it wants to partner with. Already, a number of these CBOs have been given seeds to grow nurseries whose seedlings will be used in the exercises. Ms Onyango, the programme officer in charge of community projects said, the exercise will not only conserve the environment, but it will also offer some form of income for youth-based CBOs.

~PSA plans to launch widespread tree planting exercises in Busia, Turkana, Makueni and Taita Taveta counties over the next weeks taking advantage of the ongoing rainfall.
